Ku-chan… GONE?!
So back in February, there was big hubbub in town about a sea otter that had taken up residency near one of the busiest road bridges in the city.
Everyone was smitten. People took time off from work to go see the little critter (which is actually not that little), baked goods and tacky souvenirs were quickly fashioned and peddled, and he became an all-around tourism hit.
And then, he disappeared, and now people are lost and confused.
I didn’t actually realize he was still around. Oh well… he lives on in our hearts (and in our stomachs as delicious Ku-chan chocolate creme bread).
