NEW LIFE GOAL
I will stop posting comments to public online discussions that I will later regret. (I’m sorry, Corey… the way of the troll is not for me.)
I sometimes get the urge to reply to a comment thread on a blog to make the discussion more balanced (i.e. add my own 2 cents because it’s really that important and the internets really should care about it). Then, having done so and hitting the submit button, I am usually overcome by the horrible realization that I might as well have suggested whatever I said to my right knee and it would’ve benefited just as well as an internediot would have.
At least this goal will jive nicely with my previous life goal to shut the heck up when I haven’t got anything really constructive to say (I realize how much I am sucking at fulfilling this right now… this being a parenthetical aside and all).
