Obviously, having Tumblr blocked at work does NOTHING for my post count

HI NETIZENS! LONG TIME NO SEE!! …Unless you follow my exploits via moral-degrading beer goggles Twitter. OR unless you don’t count three days as that long a time period… tomaytoes, tomahtoes.

Anyway, having Tumblr blocked at work is really bugging me. So I’m considering the alternatives:

  1. Crawl back to the comforting arms of Wordpress and snuggle up to the safety of the knowledge that my own domain name will never be significant enough for a foreign educational bureau to block.
  2. Work on my office efficiency, because everyone here has like a black belt in collating and I’ve become emaciated in a country with copy machines that collate FOR us so that we can go back to getting that high score in spider solitaire… not that the collating holds back my coworkers here from getting spider solitaire high scores (I can only wish for their high scores).
  3. Write my posts in the office and then post them later… though really, if this actually worked, I’d already be doing it instead of making a silly list.
  4. Re-ignite that creative fire and draw instead of write. Maybe make a comic. Of course, I’m leaving out the part where I have a life-changing experience and/or grow a second, more creative brain oozing with comedic ideas and plot twists.
  5. RE-level-up my character in Aurora Feint, because they totally erased my save data a while back. That was totally NOT cool of them, by the way.
  6. Study Japanese and maybe pass that JLPT Level 2 test I have coming up in the summer. I thought that when I grew up, I would grow beyond the drudgery of standardized testing and have the strength and sense of self-worth to say “I WILL BE JUDGED BY CHOICES IN LIFE, NOT ON A MULTIPLE-CHOICE TEST!” …Turns out, I’m quite often wrong. Also, I just wrote the longest, completely capitalized and bolded sentence in this blog. Woot!

Actually, I’m probably going to do a mix of all of the above. But in the meantime, I really should get back to making that list of plural nouns for class… I’m kind of tempted to blow those kids’ minds with “octopus/octopi”… but I don’t think the teacher would appreciate that too much.
